VestConcerten: The Vipers. / Vestconcerts: The Vipers.

Zoals we gewend zijn in de maand augustus, is het ook vanavond erg regenachtig.  Toch vertrekken Mario, Tim en ik naar De Vesten om het er concert mee te maken van The Vipers.  Deze Gentse groep is al erg lang samen en brengen - live, althans - veel rock-klassiekers van eind jaren '60 en begin jaren '70.  Dus, ambiance verzekerd..!

As we're used to this month of August, also tonight it's very rainy.  And yet, Mario, Tim and I go to the Vesten, to witness the concert of the Vipers.  This band comes from Gent and formed a long ago.  They bring live a lot rock-classics from the late sixties to the early seventies.  So, let's join the party..!



The Vipers, omdat het erg modderig is, durf ik niet veel dichter gaan, daar een rolstoel erg snel komt vast te zitten. / The vipers, since it's very muddy, I don't dare to get much closer to the stage, because a wheelchair gets easily stuck.

Er is wel wat volk voor komen opdagen, ondanks het slechte weer. / A small crowd gathered, despite the bad weather.

En, hiermee waaien we een zomer uit die té veel leek op een vroege herfst. / And, with this, we say goodbye to a summer that felt too much like early autumn.
